Went to the Killers concert (for the 3rd time) this past weekend.

The "opening" band Solarcade was BRILLIANT. They were far better than the second "opening" band... hellz I don't even remember what the group was called.

Solarcade is a mix of brit-pop, alt rock and a dash of goth.  I can't believe these guys are in between labels right now! I'm going to cross post this to the A&R Group for everyone to take a listen.

This is one of my favorite songs but I'd say almost every song on the album is great.  And unlike many bands, they're FAR better live than recorded. Seeing them on stage made me forget that I was there to see the Killers.

Here's a really sad picture from that evening. We can blame the shitty quality on the camera/phone we used but it was most likely due to the alcohol being consumed.

Vox offers a pretty "snow angel" looking thing as a default for audio files that don't have cover art. While snow angels are pretty, wouldn't you rather add cover art? Get noticed and Sex Up Your Vox?

Do the following:

It's called AudioShell and it's a shell extension for Windows that gives you some advanced tag editing for mp3s, including cover art. I almost sat down and built a shell extension this weekend for just this purpose, so it's a good thing I decided to do a little searching first!

AudioShell is freeware. Once you have it installed, the steps are simple:

1. Find a suitable image
2. Right click the mp3 file in Windows, and go in to Properties
3. Click the "AudioShell Tag Editor" tab
4. Click "Add cover"
5. Select the image, hit Open, and then OK from the Properties page.
   
6. Upload to Vox.

This is just my humble opinion (which I'm entitled to) and I'm sure I will have people telling me I'm crazy. I won't argue with that (I've been told many times I'm crazy)...

But I do NOT think John Mayer is that hot. I mean his music is great. But what is he doing with his hair?

I'm really enjoying Lily Allen right now. She's different. Fun. But yet some how relaxing.
I heard she was on Saturday Night Live last week, but I missed it.
