You're not alone. In fact, I would bet, possibly real money, that there are enough of us who dismantle the Rubik's Cube in order to solve it, that you could form a whole Vox Group for us.
My related confession: Remember those "Magic Eye" 3D illusions? A picture hides inside of another patterned picture. I've never been able to see one. It's always felt like a failing, I think, because it's laziness. I just can't stick with it. Maybe if there was a way to dismantle it, I could get some closure.
